What I really should have done with this post is look at the dates on the fresh vs healed pics so I could say how long these are all healed for (cause there’s a difference between showing tattoos a month from being done vs a couple years old), but I didn’t think about it until after and I don’t feel like going back to do it now 🫠 Anyway I think it’s super important for tattoo artists to be transparent by posting healed photos of their work-it helps set realistic expectations for clients and in my experience can ease some anxiety as well. Lighter shades can appear pretty dark sometimes when a tattoo is fresh even though I as the artist know that they’ll heal to a soft, light tone. So sharing healed photos like this I hope can help people picture how their work will look once it’s all healed and settled lol.
