There's nothing that breaks my heart more than when people tell me about the bad experiences they've had with previous artists. You deserve to be listened to, treated with respect, dignity, and kindness. In life in general of course but especially by the person you're trusting (and paying!) to mark your skin for the rest of your life! Crazy to me that it's 2026 and there are still artists out there who won't or can't do the bare minimum to take care of their clients.

Please please be aware and don't fall for the scammers! If a 'tattoo artist' messages you out of the blue about booking, offering a deal, asking for a deposit, be wary. If the name is misspelled, if the account is newly created or all the posts were uploaded at the same time, if they ask you to send a deposit right away or the name of the account they want you to send the deposit to doesn't match-if you see any of these red flags do NOT send them money!
If you're unsure, reach out to the artist a different way-find their email or an account on a different social media site, and ask them to confirm whether it's actually them who messaged you or not.
If you come across a scammer, make sure to report and then block them! Share with your tattooed friends to help stop these jerks from taking advantage of people 💖
